 Hotel Italie & Suisse is located in the center of Stresa on the shores of Lake Maggiore, near the landing-stage for the excursions on the lake. In front of the hotel there is a public paying parking. We offer special rates for our guests, you can buy the ticket at the reception. |
Coming by plane:
The nearest airport is "Milan Malpensa" (34 km). Once there you can reach the hotel taking the private shuttle service called "Alibus" which runs every 3 hours 7 days a week. Please note that the service must be booked in advance and the journey takes approx. 1 hour. The bus stops on the promenade opposite the hotel. If you reach Hotel Italie & Suisse by car from Malpensa airport take the "A26" highway in direction "Gravellona Toce" , exit at "Carpugnino" and then continue in direction "Lake Maggiore-Stresa". Entering the town you will find the parking and the hotel opposite to it.
Coming by train:
Stresa railway station is well connected with Milan, Geneva and Paris. The train station is at approx. 1 k m far from the hotel. Once at the railway station you can catch a taxi and you will reach the hotel in 5 min.
Coming by car:
From Milan take take A8 Highway "Laghi-Sesto Calende-Varese" direction, then take the A26 highway towards "Gravellona Toce" and exit at "Carpugnino". Once there take the street called "Lungolago" all straight on up to Stresa. You will find the city centre with the tourist office and main square; Hotel Italie & Suisse is just opposite the parking. |
