Coming by car:
From North Italy: A1 Highway up to Naples, then A3 highway. Exit at "Castellammare di Stabia" and proceed in direction of Sorrento (SS 145), then SS163-Amalfi Coast. Cross the villages of Sorrento and Positano and continue towards Amalfi. (From Naples you have to drive for approx. 50 min.). You will find Hotel Il Pino approx. 8 km far from Positano, at the end of Praiano, on the right hand-side.
From South Italy: from Salerno take A3 highway, exit at " Vietri sul mare" and drive all straight on in direction "Amalfi Coast". You will find the hotel at the beginning of Praiano on the left hand-side.
By plane: the nearest airport is Napoli Capodichino. From the airport, we would suggest you to take a taxi or the hotel can organise a taxi for you. This is the most comfortable way to reach us. Otherwise, you can take a bus (company named Curreri) from the airport to Sorrento. From Sorrento, you need to take another bus (Sita bus) up to Praiano. The bus stop is 100 metres far from us.
Coming by train:
From North Italy: the recommended station is Napoli Centrale (Piazza Garibaldi) (Naples). From there, you need to change trains in order to reach Sorrento. This is a small train (company named Circumvesuviana). In the square, under the station you will find a Sita bus that will stop in Praiano 100 metres far from the hotel.
From South Italy: the closest station is Salerno. From Salerno, you can either travel to Praiano by road (Sita bus or taxi) or you can arrive by sea.
Coming by boat:
From Salerno: daily departures from the dock of Salerno (5 minutes walking distance from the train station). Get off at Amalfi and take the Sita bus up to Praiano. The bus stop is 100 metres far from us.
From Naples: daily departures to Positano and Amalfi. We would advise you to disembark in Amalfi or in Positano and take the Sita bus up to Praiano. The bus stop is 100 metres far from us. |
