The location is perfect, right on the bus line, a nice walk to town, also the ferry to Cinque Terre is only a ten minute walk.

We absolutely loved this hotel and the entire staff! I reserved rooms for 3 couples. We knew that the only rooms available had side views, but I had asked Alfredo for front room views if any became available. He gave us rooms on the fifth floor, which were side-view rooms but at the front of the hotel. There is a porch on the fifth floor which extends the entire width of the front of the hotel with amazing views, nice chaise lounges, little tables, etc. It was a perfect get-together place for the six of us . . . we hated to leave! The hotel is in a nice, quiet location about halfway beween the center of Lerici and the village of SanTerenzo, and an easy walk to both. Lerici is an ideal location for seeing the Cinque Terre. (We stayed toward the end of Septembere when Lerici is undoubtedly quieter than in the summer.)

The family owners were very charming and helpful.
The cleaning staff were pleasant and hardworking. Breakfast more than adequate. Solarium made available after check out as we waited to make our way to Pisa airport much later that day.
Position of hotel directly in front of free beach is ideal and the resort is delightful.
Help in providing information about boats and restaurants and also about bathing facilities was much appreciated. Altogether very enjoyable experience!

The hotel is in a perfect position, equidistant from San Terenzo and Lerici with numerous restaurants and easy walking to catch boats and plenty of bus connections to other places in the vicinity. The views are stunning and the hotel is quiet at night with traffic limited to residents.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) picked Hotel Florida based on TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The rooms are very clean and air conditioned! We had 2 rooms (1 room with a bunk - perfect for kids) and a HUGE deck area with a view of the water. Breakfast was included and more than ample (pastry, cereals, meats and cheese, juices, and coffees made to order!). The hotel is directly across from a very busy beach area (but still great swimming), and it is about a 10-15 minute walk into town. The office staff is really friendly and helpful - this is obviously a family run hotel and they take pride in it! They have a computer with free internet access. We found Lerici to be a quaint town which has not been over-run by American tourists. We had our best pasta meal and gelato in Lerici!! You can get to the Cinque Terre by boat which takes around 25 minutes. Portovenere is also definitely worth a visit and only about a 15 minute boat ride away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Florida and Lerici!

The hotel itself was smaller than expected...but great location. Very clean but small rooms and the tiniest shower in the world. We had balconies that looked onto next door buildings. Walk across the street and you're on the sand! We would definately come again.

They lock the doors at night...and did not give us this information. The next night there was a thunder storm that was fantastic.. so being unable to sleep due to the lighting we went downstairs and stood on the front step of the hotel to watch it. The night Staff (a gentleman) locked the door and said you have to stay out or in and that we couldn't stand in the lobby to watch.??? He was molto grumpy.
However, on the opposite side of this was the lovely daughter of the manager, Valentina. She was most helpful, patient, and all around pleasure. She provided us with a typed written list of good local restaurants when we arrived. Plus many other helpful things regarding our travels. She gets an A+.

very good service and breakfast selection.
Definately would stay here again. Had a separated triple room...perfect for ourselves and our teen.
