We suggest our guests to visit the following sites in Sorrento:

Sedil Dominova
This is the only remaining testimony in Campania of the old noble seats and
dates back to the XVIth century. It has a quadrilateral form with two corner arches in piperno (lava) permitting the view of the interior of the cupola and the end walls with 18th century frescoes. The pilasters and poly-style arches with their capitals are in archaic style. The 17th century cupola is decorated by green and yellow majolica roof tiles.

Church of San Francesco
The monastery's origin dates to the first half of the VIIIth century. The cloister's architecture presents crossed arches in tufo on two sides of the portico, expressing the style of the late 1300s and substituted on the other two sides by round arches on octagonal pilasters.

Vallone dei Mulini
The probable reason that the first inhabitants chose this area, was the insular geographical form of the zone. In fact, until just a few centuries ago, Sorrento was ordered on three sides by land with valleys, and the remaining part facing north looked over the sea.
Today, of the old valleys, only one can be admired. This extends from the east and goes south wards, and looking down into the valley you can see the remains of an old mill from which is derived the name - Valley of the Mills.
In the town,
you can find all kind of shops and restaurants, where you can buy something interesting and taste the local cuisine during your stay.
