The Restaurant
The pride of our hotel is cuisine, personally trained by Mrs Adele Zanon, Deborah's mother. She offers in her restaurant typical courses involved with Valtellina tradition, as Pizzoccheri, or ancient plates wisely revised. Every course give lights to traditions and it is all exalted by the excellent local wines.

As background, tea, aromatic herbs infusions, an inborn accuracy for details and for magic atmospheres. Hotel Baita Fiorita is also a restaurant, accessible to everyone under reservation. Restaurant is a piece of history of Santa Caterina Valfurva, and it preserves the name of ancient Caffè Bormio, built in 1896 for travellers' refreshment whom passed by and from Stelvio pass. It was the planning stage of Romantik Hotel Baita Fiorita di Deborah.

S. Caterina Valfurva is situated in a valley basin at an altitude of 1738mts above sea level, at the foot of Ortles-Cevedale mountain group, set in a protected area of Stelvio National Park. Santa Caterina Valfurva was already known in the 19th century as a spa bath location, thanks to its ferruginous water springs, and soon after the World War One became one of the most well-known alpine resort. All the time Santa Caterina is the ideal start for easy pleasant walks through fields and woods along well marked paths, excursions to the alpine refuges or more demanding climbs to the Ortles-Cevedale peaks with Alpine guide. Alta Valtellina is placed at the borders between Italy, Switzerland and Austria, in the heart of Rheatian Alps. The Alta Valtellina has a long history. Bormio and the sidevalleys constituted a "County", very important from a political point of you view, because of its geographical position that make itself since the ancient time the natural "guardian" of the most relevant Alpine passes. Towers, monuments, churches, noble houses, historical and ethnographical museums testify the past. On winter skiing is possible thanks to the high-level ski-lifts and slopes: in summer it's possible to ski on the Stelvio-glacier.
...all in the frame of the friendly hospitality of Valtellina.
