Quiet small town overlooking beautiful Lake Como. If you are looking for a rest between busy days this is the place to lay back. Of all the places we stayed this is one of the best breakfast choices that we received.

When my mother arrived to check in she was very impressed with Margerita who greeted her and took care of all of us the entire time we were renting the Il MUlino apartment. Regardless of our questions of issues, she had an answer and a solution.

Il MUlino apartment was better than wxpected. Property was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a weeks stay.

You should mention teh waterfall, how beatyful it is. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location of the property is very convinient.

When a friend is planning a trip to lake Como area, I would recommend that they stay on Hotel Aurora property. Especially the Il Mulino apartment.

The staff even made arrangements for us to be picked up at the train station. Check in was very informative and staff insured we knew they were there to provide help, area information, what to see, availability of public transportation and water taxis.

This was the first time I had ever seen an entire staff who wanted to insure that my wife and I had a marvelous experience at their hotel and on our visits to the surrounding areas.

Check out was flawless. We chose to stay an extra day in the area and even though Hotel Aurora was fully booked, Margarite secured us very nice accommodations at a nearby hotel.

This is one of the most beautiful areas in Italy and the staff at Hotel Aurora insured that our stay would be as perfect as they could make it. The breakfast was exceptional and the variety for the evening meal was great. We especially liked dining at the edge of the lake with the view. We spend 14 days in Italy and this was our favorite place.

A lovely welcome greeting was extended by Margherite, the owner, who came down to the bus stop outside the hotel to greet us. I had phoned earlier to say that becuase we had missed our train connection we would be arriving later than expected.

Would highly recommend this hotel. A table was reserved for us at the restuarant when we had arrived, late and tired. Very much appreciated by our party. Information was freely given about boat times etc - very helpful and friendly staff. Loved the 'family atsmosphere' of the hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Hotel Aurora. It is a family run hotel and they were always friendly and went out of their way to introduce themselves and make us feel welcome. The room was fantastic value for money and was the best one we stayed in during our travels in Italy.

Margherita made us feel we are friends immediately and we are under her wings. She reserved a table at their lovely restaurant for us...we definitely appreciated after a long journey.

Made to feel very welcome, and provided excellent advice on places to visit during our stay.

The hotel is in a great location as it is away from the main tourist areas. We had a room with a balcony and a wonderful view of the lake. A 5 minute walk takes you to the boat stop, where you can get access to all of the key tourist locations, e.g., Bellagio.

Would have been useful to have been told that the road leading to the hotel is very narrow in places and you need to take great care of oncoming traffic - especially around the corners!

Hotel Aurora was by far the nicest place we stayed in Italy (we stayed in 4 places). The location was lovely, but even better, were the people that ran this hotel. Everyone was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We will not forget Margherita or Patricia and their ability to help people get oriented to the area and feel comfortable and happy. This was a professionally run hotel with a family friendly focus. The food was outstanding, including the breakfast....the cappacino the best in Italy. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel Aurora is very good value. The family who run the hotel are great. They are very helpful and go out of their way to may your stay enjoyable. The breakfasts are excellent and the food in the restaurant is outstanding.
We really enjoyed sitting on the deck after sunset, watching the sky darken and listening to the water lapping on the shore.

Hotel Aurora is a good base for Lake Como. It has all the amenities you would need and there is regular ferry service to other parts of the lake.

I nice hotel to spend quality time with a young family, lots of ways to enjoy the lake itself. The hotel is a little isolated, i.e. there is not much to do at night without driving to nearby towns, if you enjoy seeing different aspects of the lake and sampling numerous restaurants.

Evem though they have no elevator the owners son was more than happy to bring my suitcase up to our room.
Perhaps a sheet of instructions (like where the breakfast is served, where computer is, menu for the resturant) would be helpful to travelers like myself.

It was the best stop of a two week trip through Germany, Switzerland and Italy. The owners could not have been more helpful. I had a small problem with my laptop/wifi and they were extremely helpful. Breakfast was wonderful - the whole enviroment was great.
Their resturant is the best! I am hoping to return soon. And bring my friends.

The owner helped us with our onward route and told us how to take the car ferry from Bellaggio across the lake saving us a lot of drive time. Plus the ferry ride was beautiful.

Their resturant is like dining at a private club or family home - it is just the best. One night we were there they had live music and I think the whole village turned out.

Did not get the balcony room for the first night, but did receive it for the second night. Price was adjusted accordingly.

Great place in quite village of Lezzeno, just a short drive from Bellagio. Well worth it.
