Coming by plane:
The nearest airport is "Milan Malpensa". Once there you can reach the hotel taking the private shuttle service called "Alibus" which runs every 3 hours 7 days a week. Please note that the service must be booked in advance and the journey takes approx. 1 hour. The bus stops on the promenade opposite the hotel. If you reach Hotel Ancora by car from Malpensa airport take the "A26" highway in direction "Gravellona Toce" up to Gravellona Toce exit. The hotel is located along the main street (Lungolago).
Coming by train:
Verbania Fondotoce railway station is well connected with Milan, Geneva and Paris. The railway station of Verbania Fondotoce is at 9 km far from Verbania Intra. The two villages are connected by frequent local bus lines. Get off at Verbania Intra centre stop and you will see the hotel opposite the lake.
Coming by car:
- From Milan take take A8 Highway "Laghi-Sesto Calende-Varese" direction, then take the A26 highway towards "Gravellona Toce" and exit at "Gravellona Toce". Once there take the street called "Lungolago" all straight on up to Verbania Intra. Entering the town you will find an ample car parking and the hotel on the left hand-side. |
