I did not use the directions published on the website so I can't comment on that. We used the navigation system in the rental car and that worked fine.

Amazing place! The central location to Sorrento was ideal. The rooms were great although the balcony was a little smaller than expected. But the view... phenomenal! Very friendly staff, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was very friendly, especially the guy at the docks, Salvatorre. The rooms were clean, the location was ideal, and everything stated on the website was very accurate. I would definitely stay at the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori again!

Room 404 was very good apart from being under the Restaurant Terrace. We could hear chairs being dragged along and people walking about on the tiled floor above us preparing for breakfast and during breakfast - it started about 6.30 a.m. otherwise we have no complaint.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and stored our cases after we checked out @ 11.00, as our flight was not until 8.30 that evening. The staff organised a return taxi to the airport for us.

A very comfortable,clean and friendly Hotel A Hotel with excellent staff and wonderful views. We enjoyed having just bed and breakfast, so we could eat in the main Restaurant or Barbecue area or out at various restauarants as we wanted to.
We met some lovely people during our stay and would definitely like to return to this Hotel.

Perfectly professional and to the point. The atmosphere was welcoming and the lovely airy lobby made us feel good about the place at once.

An excellent and well run place and good value for money. We went to Ambasciatori on the recommendation of friends who are quite fastidious. My only suggestion would be that dinner ought to be better. It is a bit bland and too 'global'. People go to Italy to eat Italian food (among others), and the formula should be more Italian and less central European or transatlantic. The fact that all your staff speak excellent English is enough of a concession. Breakfasts were good although stocks should have been replenished more quickly so that latecomers (not us) did not need to feel that they were getting less. But none of this detracts from the great time we had. Thank you. We will be back.

We had to ask to change room as we felt the room we were given at first was not a deluxe sea view as requested. However on our second day we were given a new room which was excellent.

Check out clerk was very displeased with a dispted minibar charge (gin and tonic on 10/1, must have been used by party that was previously in our room - we checked in on 10/1); it makes me think that housekeeping didn't properly check minibar; anyhow, clerk was rather unpleasant to us

A beautiful property on the Mediteranean, with sweeping views of the Sorrento and Naples Bay, very truthful to the Internet description and specification, great location relative to shopping/restaurants, friendly, helpful staff, pleasant room decor, very good breakfast buffet selections -all in all excellent value
