By plane: Aeroporto di Catania-Fontanarossa is really close to the hotel, at a distance of 7 to 8 kilometres: this terminal welcomes connections from Italy and European capitals on a regular basis and is one of the main entrances to Sicily island.
By car: From Catania airport, take Strada Primosole, turn left in Tredisecima Strada Zona Industriale and then, route SP69. Afterwards, get on SP70, go along Via Acquicella Porto and take your right at Via Domenico Tempio. Continue along Via Cristoforo Colombo and Via Mulino Santa Lucia. Keep on straight till you come to a roundabout, where you must take the first exit into Piazza Paolo Borsellino. At a second roundabout, take the second exit, Via Cardenale Dusmet. As you arrive in Catania, go up to Piazza dei Martiri, and take Via Francesco Crispi. Turn left in Via Gabriele d`Annunzio and right in Via Renato Imbriani. Veer left in Via Passo di Aci, take Via Fulci and Via Etnea, where the hotel stands on number 668. Bear in mind that if you land in Rome and rent a car there, you must drive towards the south, in the direction to Napoli, Villa San Giovanni and Messina, before you reach Catania.
By train: From Catania airport you may take the Alibus number 457 that transports passengers to Catania Railway station. Get off at Stazione Centrale di Catania, placed in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII (2 to 3 kilometres from the inn). From there you can take buses 429, 432, 449 or lines 1 to 4 up to Via Etnea 668. The stop is right in front of the hotel, so it will be really easy to reach your room.
At the railway station you may also take the underground, and get off at Borgo, a station placed only steps from the Vecchia Palma. From here you must walk along Via Signorelli, turn left in Via Empedocle and right in Via Passo Gravina. The first street you will come across is Via Etnea: turn right and you will come across the hotel on number 668. |
