There are 12 rooms inside this accommodation, which was built in the 19th century as a noble villa: this is made evident by many antique furnishings inside, as well as the appearance from the outside. The constructions represents an example of the classic Sicilian baroque style, which is one of the main attractions of this city on the eastern coast of Sicily. |
If you love the charm of Hotel La Vecchi Palma, do not end your vacations till you have strolled along Via dei Crociferi, where many of the constructions in baroque style are located. You should also check Via Etna, the most important artery in the city, and the Roman Amphitheatre. |
The villa was turned into a lodging in 2000, and the last renovation took placed in 2007. However, most of the original features have been preserved, from the beds in dark wood to the chests in the lounge: what seems to be the jewel of these ambiances are the frescoes on the walls and the ceiling, all of them belonging to the local baroque style. As for the common areas, there is an American Bar where breakfast is served and delightful gardens where to spend the afternoon. |
