By Plane
The airports you will find closer to the property are International Abruzzo Airport in Pescara (58 km) - it welcomes flights from many cities within Italy and also from other countries in Europe - and Fiumicino in Rome (280 km). From either of these terminals you may easily reach railway stations and travel to Fossacesia.
By Car
If you land in Pescara-Abruzzo airport, take motorway SS5 and then turn left into SS16. Close to Pescara get on RA12 and head towards Chieti and afterwards, Bari. You will soon be driving along A14/E55, where after the town of Ortona you must get off at exit "Val di Sangro". Travel in the direction "FOSSACESIA/ PAGLIETA/ TORINO DI SANGRO/ SS16/ ADRIATICA" before taking your right into SS652. Turn right once again and then left into SP105 and SP108. As you come to Strutto, veer left into Via Fonticelli. Take your right at Via Colle dell`Erco and you will arrive in Fossacesia, where you must take the first exit at the roundabout: this track is Via Viale San Giovanni in Venere, or SP106. The fourth street on your left is Via Santa Maria, where the hotel stands on number 5. (40 minutes drive, approximately).
For those guests arriving in Rome, get on motorway A24/E80 towards Chieti/Pescara, continue along A14/E55 and get off at exit "Val di Sangro". (The complete journey to the inn takes around 2 hours 40 minutes). |
