By plane: The nearest airports to Hotel Sorriso are the one at Bari, Aeroporto di Palese (143 kilometres from the property), and the one at Foggia, Gino Lisa (26 km). Palese welcomes flights from Paris, Milan, Rome, London and Stuttgart on a regular basis, while the one at Foggia mostly serves regional and national flights, for example if you are coming from Rome. From both of them you may reach the Foggia central station and get on a bus to Lucera.
By car: From the airport in Bari, get on the SS16AA and exit it at "Molfetta/Terlizzi". Turn left into the SP112 and then take the A14/ E55, where you must stay for 100 kilometres. Head towards Pescara and leave at the exit for Foggia before getting on the SS673, SS16 and SS17. Drive in the direction "Campobasso/ Lucera" and take your left at Viale Antonio Canova. This street ends in Viale Raffaello Sanzio, where you have to turn right and the Hotel Sorriso will come into view on your left hand side. (This journey takes around 1 hour 30 minutes)
At Foggia airport, go along the SP105 till a roundabout where you must take the first exit into SS16 and then SS17. Afterwards, follow the indications already described. (In this case the journey takes around half an hour).
By train: At the airport in Bari you can take the Autobus Tempesta to the Central Station in the city of Bari. From there, take a train to Foggia station (the Eurostar or Intercity plus services take around an hour) and then the bus leaving to Lucera every 30 minutes. It will leave you off only 600 metres from the hotel, the nearest stop being the one on Porta Foggia. |
