From Bologna airport:
take the shuttle bus to Bologna railway station. Departures are every 30 minutes and the trip itself takes about half an hour.
From Bologna railway station:
take a train to either Milan, Turin, Genoa or Piacenza which stops in Modena. Modena is only 20 minutes away from Bologna by train.
From Modena railway station:
Hotel Principe is located only 200 metres from the railway station. As you exit the station, go straight past the parking lot until you get to the crossroad. Cross the street and turn left into Via Palestro. Walk until its end and you will find yourself on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, just across the street from Hotel Principe, which is located at number 94. If you drive from the railway station, turn left at the crossroad with Viale Monte Kosica and after about 100 metres you will get to a roundabout. Turn right into Corso Vittorio Emanuele where you will find Hotel Principe located on your left hand side at number 94.
By car from Bologna or Milan:
exit the highway at Modena Nord, at the intersection with Highway A22 Modena-Brennero. Follow the directions to the city centre and the railway station. As you drive on the Via Emilia, you will drive past a number of traffic lights over a couple of kilometres. After a bridge you will come to the 5th traffic light: turn left here. Follow this road for about 300 metres until you get to a small roundabout and take the second exit, which is Viale Monte Kosica and leads to the railway station. Go straight until you get to another bigger roundabout (you will notice a big church before you) and take the first street to the right, which is Corso Vittorio Emanuele, where you will find Hotel Principe located on your left at number 94. |
