| The hotel is located right close to Piazza Politeama, in the modern heart of the city. It is literally surrounded by the best fashion designer stores, jewelleries, design and accessories shops, but also by the trendiest cafés, bars and restaurants. The main theatres in the city are all within a walking distance: the Teatro Massimo, which is the Opera theatre (the Hotel Plaza Opéra is one of the Sponsors of the 2008 Season), the Teatro Politeama, where the Sicilian Regional Orchestra plays, the Teatro Biondo and the Teatro Al Massimo, respectively very famous for prose and comedy.
