 The jewel of the Orange d`Alcantara is without any doubt the swimming pool, which is located on the fourth floor of the property. As the hotel is already on a spot at 365 metres above sea level, just imagine the wonderful views you will obtain from the pool. It measures 5 x 11 metres and features special conditions so that handicapped guests can make use of it. There is also a solarium and a bar. |
 The restaurant of the inn serves the specialties of Sicilian cuisine: cassatas, canellis, torronis, pastry. Apart from these classical recipes, you should try the pizzeria one of the evenings of your stay. The pizza made in the oven is a real treat! The hotel also provides minibuses to make excursions in the area. The Trinacria hall measures 100 square metres and can be hired for social events and business meetings. | Only 6 kilometres from the inn, you will find a marvellous golf club called Piccolo, which is highly recommended. Meanwhile, your family can have fun at the beach, only 15 kms far from the Orange. For a cultural day, Taormina is only 20 kilometres away: visit the Greek theatre, from the Roman era, and Isola Bella, a natural reserve. Of course you cannot leave Sicily without visiting Mount Etna, and if you still want more nature and outdoor activities, try the Nebrodi park, and Gole Alcantara. At the latter you may practise all sorts of sports, like canoeing, tennis, trekking, and the unique trekking by the river. |
