  • At what time can we check-in and out?
    All accommodations, Check In from 1pm, Check Out before 10.30am.
  • Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
    The price is per room per day.
  • Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
    Yes, buffet breakfast with regional products is included in the price.
  • Can we settle the bill on arrival?
    Yes, the room bill can be settled upon arrival - all extras will however have to be settled at departure.
  • Which languages are spoken at the reception?
    Our staff speaks Italian, English, French, German and Danish.
  • How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
    There are 6 floors in the building. All the floor can be reached by elevator.
  • Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
    Yes, there are.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
    No, they do not.
  • Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
    All our rooms have a private balcony.
  • Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
    Yes, on request, we can assign non smoking rooms.
  • Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
    Yes, all our rooms have a TV and there are also some international channels.
  • Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
    Yes, telephones in the rooms have a direct dialling function.
  • Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
    Yes, there is free air conditioning in all rooms.
  • Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
    Yes, there is an Internet point in the lobby.
  • Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
    There is not a swimming pool.
  • Is parking or garage available?
    Yes, there is a private Hotel garage at extra charge. The hotel has also a parking area (free of charge) in front of the Hotel.
  • Where can we rent a car?
    On request, we can rent a car for you.
  • Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
    The nearest one is about 50 meters far from the hotel.
  • Which is the nearest village or town?
    The nearest town is Taormina and it is located at about 5 Km far from the Hotel.
  • Which is the nearest airport?
    The nearest airport is Catania Fontanarossa (56 km).
  • Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
    On request, we can organize pickup service with private car or taxi from the airport.
  • Which is the nearest bus-stop?
    The nearest bus-stop is about 100 meters far from the Hotel.
  • Which is the nearest railway station?
    The Taormina/Giardini railway station is located about 2,5 Km far from the Hotel.
  • How far away is the beach?
    The beach is at about 25 meters from the hotel.
  • Is the beach private or public?
    The hotel does not have a private beach. The public beach is about 25 meters away from the hotel, the first lido is about 100 meters far from the hotel.
  • Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
    No, there is not.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Yes, Hotel La Riva is a pet friendly Hotel. "Because we believe that your pet is a part of your family, so your pet is welcome to share your holiday at The Hotel La Riva."
  • Is there a restaurant in the Property?
    No, there is not.
  • Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
    No, you can not.
