By car:
Val Gardena can be reached using the Brennero Motorway (A 22).
Coming from the north, follow the route Innsbruck - Brennero - Chiusa.
Coming from the south, follow Verona - Trento - Bolzano. Take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit. Following the well-marked roads, taking Via Gardena (SS242) -it will change the name many times- and you should reach Ortisei in about 20 minutes, pass the village and continue straight through Str. Gherdeina. Turn left in Str. J. Skasa (where the Hotel is located).
By train:
From Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Belgium, there are fine IC and EC connections, coming from the cities of Munich, Innsbruck, Brennero to Bressanone or Bolzano. Some trains stop in Chiusa. A bus service transports you from Bressanone and Bolzano almost every hour to Val Gardena. From Val Gardena, you could take a taxi to arrive to the Hotel, in S. Cristina.
There's also a transfer every Saturday from Munich (main station) to Val Gardena (S. Antonius square - Ortisei). From Val Gardena you could take a taxi to the Hotel.
By plane:
The nearest airports are in Bolzano (40 km), Innsbruck (120 km). From the Airport you could take a taxi to arrive to the Hotel. To arrive to the Hotel by car from the Airport of Bolzano, take the Mortorway A 22 to the north and leave it in the exit Chiusa/Val Gardena. Following the well-marked roads, taking Via Gardena (SS242) -it will change the name many times- and you should reach Ortisei in about 20 minutes, pass the village and continue straight through Str. Gherdeina. Turn left in Str. J. Skasa (where the Hotel is located).
By Bus:
The scheduled buses run from Bolzano, Bressanone or Chiusa (where all trains stop). The buses stop in front of the railway stations. The bus from Bolzano (line 120) runs over Ponte Gardena (1 h) and the bus from Bressanone (line 122) runs over Chiusa (1 h) or Ponte Gardena (here change) to Val Gardena. From Val Gardena, you could take a taxi to the Hotel. |
