By plane: Airports in the nearby area are the one at Bolzano (50 kilometres), in Italy, and Innsbruck (120 km), in Austria. The first welcomes flights from other cities in Italy as well as European points such as Hannover, Berlin, London and Zürich.
By car: If your plane lands in Bolzano, take the A22 motorway, also known as Brenner motorway, and leave it at the exit "Chiusa/Val Gardena". From Chiusa you will have around 22 kilometres till Selva di Val Gardena. Just pass through the ski school, turn to your left and the hotel will come into view after around 500 metres.
By train: All the railway services belonging to the lines IC (Intercity) and EC (Eurostar city) have stops at Bolzano, where you can catch a bus to Selva di Val Gardena. This journey will take around an hour and a half and the bus will leave you off 500 metres from the Hotel Continental. Unless you have light luggage and feel like walking, there is a free pick up service on your arrival. Otherwise, from Innsbruck you can get a direct service to Ponte Gardena Waidbruck, a station only 20 kilometres from the inn (this last journey takes around 2 hours 15 minutes). |
