 Pescara is placed not more than 200 km from Rome and welcomes many visitors in summer time, ready to enjoy the beaches on the Adriatic coast; however, in winter it could also be attractive to stay here, at this accommodation only 300 metres from the sea, as the ski complex of Roccaraso and Passo Lanciano is 40 minutes driving from Pescara. |
 The Hotel Ambra Palace was opened as a guest house in 1963, though the building where it works had previously been a "palazzo" or family house for 13 years. In 2000 it was completely renovated, and from then on the chambers have air conditioning and access to internet, among many other modern facilities. |
 A total of 61 rooms, either single, double or triple, are offered to guests: some of them even have balconies from where to breathe in the fresh air coming from the sea. Though room service is available with no extra charge, during your stay you should not miss a dinner at the property`s restaurant, where the musts of regional cuisine are served. |
