 At Hotel Aktea there are all sorts of services. This three-star hotel provides breakfast: it is a continental buffet with hot and cold drinks, salads, fruits, ham and cheese, cereals, cake, marmalade. On request you may take the American buffet, with sausages, ham, bacon, fried eggs. There is also a restaurant at the property, serving Sicilian and Eolian dishes. |
 It is open for lunch and dinner, even though at noon a buffet is arranged by the swimming pool, and for dinner, a barbecue is available too. The swimming pool is 350 sqm big and has six Jacuzzis. At Hotel Aktea you will be really close form the beaches on Marina Lunga, but for a change you may take the transfer bus service to Canneto. |
| At Hotel Aktea you will be really close from the centre of Lipari, a town placed on a plateau of red volcanic rock with two beaches on either side, Marina Lunga and Marina Corta. The citadel, with a marvellous castle, is surrounded by walls that were built in the 16th century for protection. Inside, you will find the main attractions, the Duomo, the archaeological museum and two baroque churches. You should also travel to the foreign islands: Salina, the second largest archipelago in the Eolians, has the volcanic peaks Fossa della Felci and Porri to visit. |
