| | |  There are 40 guestrooms at Hotel Aktea, all of them displayed along three floors. As it follows the architecture that is typical of the Eolian islands, there are certain traditional features that were added to the structure. In general, the constructions in Lipari were simple and cubic shaped: but certain elements were incorporated to embellish them: one of these was the "pulere", a cylindrical column that is placed below the pergolas to support the wooden beams. |
 It is thanks to this white "pulere" - pretty evident as soon as you catch a glimpse of the hotel - that you will enjoy beautiful terraces outside the rooms. Hotel Aktea is made up of two bodies: the largest comprises three floors and contains the lobby, most of the chambers, the bar, the restaurant and the meeting area; meanwhile, the adjacent smaller structure has the rest of the chambers only. |
 The hotel is placed among vegetation. There are 40 guestrooms, of which 17 can be turned into triple units. They all face the sea and feature balconies or terraces of their own, within ambiances that measure around 20 square metres. There are also 3 junior suites that can accommodate up to 4 guests, in two connected rooms. In the private bathrooms, you will find a shower, but in the best cases there are also Jacuzzis and saunas. The wrought iron beds look pretty romantic among the soft shades used for the decoration. |
