Hotel Centrale is located in a historical building right in the center of the town of Amalfi, in the square of Piazza Duomo where the Cathedral stands. The town of Amalfi is located on the the famous Amalfi Coast and the hotel is just fifty meters away from the sea. Both from the sea and from land you can do various excursions to for example Capri, Pompei and Vesuvio, Pestum, Positano and Ravello. You can reach the hotel both with public and private transport and for guests coming by car we have an agreement with a private parking. We can also provide transfers by private car upon request. |

From the Airport: The nearest airport is the International Airport of Naples "Capodichino". To reach the Amalfi Coast you can take a taxi, or get to Naples by public bus ANM.
From Piazza Garibaldi, at the central station of Napoli trains leaves for Salerno at hourly intervals. From Piazza Municipio in Naples, the SITA bus coach service has busses going directly to Amalfi. From Beverello harbours strats the buses of the Sita company and from here you can also take the ferry to Amalfi.
By Train: the nearest railway station is in Salerno. You can continue by taxi or by bus of the SITA company, there is a regular coach service to Amalfi almost every hour during weekdays. Or you can take the ferry from Salerno to Amalfi with departures from the port of Piazza della Concordia.
By Car: By motorway from the North and South there are various alternatives. Amalfi is considered the centre of the Amalfi Coast. We suggest the best routes:
Coming from the North, follow directions for motorway A3 and Salerno. On A3 take junction "Vietri sul Mare", follow signs for Amalfi and you will be on the famous Amalfi drive.
Coming from the South and the East, on motorway A3 take the junction for Salerno Centro. Turn left following signs for Vietri sul Mare and Amalfi, after driving for about 3 kms you will be on the Amalfi drive.
When you arrive in Amalfi you can park your car in the central square and reach the hotel by foot. Hotel Centrale is located right in the centre of Amalfi, in the square of Piazza Duomo where the Cathedral stands. We have an agreement with a private parking for guests who come with car. |
