Hotel Bramante has been carefully transformed from an historic monastic site into an elegant country hotel. The original convent, Santa Margherita, founded in the XII century became a monastery in 1204 with an edict issued by Pope Paul IV. Located in the heart of Umbria along the green slopes of Todi, the Hotel is near the Renaissance Temple of Santa Maria of the Consolazione designed by the famous architect Donato Bramante. |
Who intend to explore the many wonderful venues of Umbria, including Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto and Orvieto, will find Hotel Bramante the ideal central location. Our outdoor amenities include a tennis court with synthetic grass, a magnificent swimming pool, a green park, a plentiful car parking and fabulous panoramic views. |
Inside the hotel you can use the gym after a day of meetings or exploring the sights. Hotel Bramante has conserved the original fundamental structure of the convent. All furnishing have been chosen with great care both in the rooms and in the restaurant. All 50 rooms include a private bath. There are 3 junior suites and 4 suites with hydro-massage. |
In the two beautifully appointed restaurants, our chefs prepare the finest cuisine of local specialities and international favourites. Many menu choices have been obtained from ancient Etruscan and medieval recipes. The terrace with its magnificent views and barbecue area near the swimming pool offers outdoor dining in the summer season. |
The hotel is the perfect place for meetings and conventions, or weddings. Four meetings rooms offer capacity seating from 10 up to 300. The large meeting room is divisible into three smaller isolated rooms. The Hotel also has another conference room of 60 square meters. |
