Initially we were given inferior accommodation to that agreed in the voucher. When this was pointed out we were given the correct accommodation.

In general the property was as indicated on the web site.
However, the web site stated that there was a 'fully equipped kitchen'. In fact, there was no oven and limited utensils were provided. Also, the lighting in the kitchen area was inadequate.

Great location. Good facilities. Good value.
The corner apartment that occupied had a balcony which made it better than the others, so ask for that one.

We had not notified Haus Bethusy of our likely arrival time, so the fact that no one was there to meet us was an accident. Directions, however, could have been much clearer (like identifying the restaurant next door, which has a very noticeable sign).

We did not use the directions published on the website. We used our personal GPS. The streets in Bellagio are very narrow and it was a bit confusing as to whether we could actually drive on some of the roads indicated by the GPS. Once I got over the fear factor and drove according to instruction, we found it without a problem. We did end up in a different accomodation, I think, because one of the travelers did not make the trip. So, we were a party of 5 and not 6. The apartment was fine though and we paid the same price. My advice is to definitely call and let them know what time you expect to be there. Otherwise you will have to wait for someone to arrive at the property. There is no reception on location.

Nice accomdations. Only suggestions might be to invest in more comfortable pull out mattresses for the sofa/futon, a fresh coat of paint, and a through bleaching of the bathroom. It was clean, but looked a bit run down in places. The location is wonderful (atop the hill and right at the edge of town) and convenient. I would definitely recommend this accomodation.

Traveling with a larger party in Europe can be tricky and expensive. This option for accomodation was great and economical.

I can't remember if it is on the website or not, but I would definitely suggest warning people about the amount of stairs. I think the website says all flats are on the second floor, but in reality there are three flights of stairs (the first two pretty steep and the third spiral)to reach any of the apartments. Second floor is typical wording in Europe for this arrangement, but some tourists might misunderstand and be in for a surprise when traveling with people who have limited mobility.

I would tell a friend that the place is a great place to stay. The location is wonderful. A great little deli and the world's best gelato (right across the street from each other)are less than 1/2 a kilometer away by foot. The air conditioning is a god send in the summer and the place was great size. I'd definitely recommend it and would definitely return.

They accommodated our late arrival and had someone meet us at 1am which was very much apprecisted.

Yes, when you arriving with the car, you need to have a code to pace the road with your car, which goes to the appartments.
Or a nice citzen let you with you in.

We arrived at the stated time but the owner was not present. Once I had called him, however, he arrived within minutes and was very helpful and kind.

The only complaint was the bed, which was a foldout settee type. It would have been more comfortable if it was a proper bed, with a proper base and mattress.
