 This was the first Mediterranean place to be declared marine natural reserve and is an authentic paradise, thirty-six miles from the Sicilian Coast, which gives hospitability in the depth of its waters to the most marine fauna and flora of our Mare Nostrum. It is divided into three naturalistic areas to avoid the harmful effects of an indiscriminate tourism. Ustica has made a series of interventions in defence of its incalculable natural patrimony. Hotel Grotta Azzurra is retired in the most suggestive part of Ustica island, Contrada San Ferlicchio. |
