 The Grand Hotel et de Milan is right in the centre of the city, opposite via Montenapoleone and close by to Via della Spiga, a short walk away from La Scala, the Cathedral and from where the financial area nestles. The most important museums of milan are at a stone's throw: the Poldi Pezzoli, the Royal Palace, Brera Picture Gallery - surrounded by the lively "artist's quarter" - and the "galleria". Motorway Trade Fair/Viale Certosa - Milano Nord exit:
· drive down Viale Certosa, towards the centre, as far as Piazza Firenze
· turn right into Via Cenisio, driving right to the end
· drive along Cimitero Monumentale - the Monumental Cemetery (Via Nono)
· in Piazza Cimitero Monumentale, turn right at the traffic lights into Via Ceresio
· past Piazza Baiamonti, at the second set of traffic lights drive on towards the left into Viale Crispi
· drive straight on past Bastioni di Porta Nuova, Piazza Principessa Clotilde and Viale Monte Santo
· drive across Piazza della Repubblica and then right down Bastioni di Porta Venezia, along the public gardens
· turn right at the traffic lights into Corso Venezia and drive straight on as far as Piazza San Babila, turning right at the traffic lights into Corso Matteotti
· take the second turning on the right, via San Pietro all'Orto, right again into Via Verri and then immediately left into via Montenapoleone
· drive right down to the end of via Montenapoleone where you will see a monument with a flight of steps in pink marble opposite and to the left of which is the Grand Hotel et de Milan
· turn left into Via Manzoni.
Motorway Viale Forlanini (Linate Airport) - Milano Sud exit:
· follow the roadsigns for Linate Airport and exit at "Viale Forlanini"
· drive straight down Viale Corsica, Corso XXII Marzo, across Piazza 5 Giornate, along Corso di Porta Vittoria as far as Piazza San Pietro in Gessate, turning slightly right into Via Cesare Battisti
· at the traffic lights turn right into Via Visconti di Modrone
· drive right down Via Visconti di Modrone, at the second set of traffic lights turn left into Corso Monforte
· drive right down Corso Monforte, across Piazza San Babila and straight on into Corso Matteotti
· take the second turning on the right, via San Pietro all'Orto, right again into Via Verri and then immediately left into via Montenapoleone
· drive right down to the end of via Montenapoleone where you will see a monument with a flight of steps in pink marble opposite and to the left of which is the Grand Hotel et de Milan
· turn left into Via Manzoni
