It is easy to reach with public transport: the bus stop is only 5 minute walking from the property. The hotel is located in a strategic position between the historical centre of Como and Cernobbio, a few hundred meters from the freeway exit Como Nord, the Swiss border and the convention centre of Villa Erba. |
BY CAR: coming from north, take the motorway A9 Milan -Lugano. Exit at Como Nord and follow the indications to Como Centre. 500 metres after the exit you find Grand Hotel di Como on your right.
BY TRAIN: the nearest railway station is Como San Giovanni. From the exit you can take a taxi or the bus. The nearest stop is only 5 minute walking from Grand Hotel di Como and the name of the hotel is written at the bus stop. When you get off, you see the hotel om your left.
BY PLANE: the nearest airports are Milano Malpensa and Milano Linate. From the airport you can take the shuttle service bringing you directly to the nearest railway station and from there you take the train to Como San Giovanni. From the station we can arrange a pick up service on request. The Hotel has its own helicopter landing strip. It is possible to book transfers to the nearby airports, as well as private flights. Taxi service and courtesy shuttle to downtown are also available. |
