Very beautiful and big room with a terrace with view on the Vesuvius. The airco was very good and the bathroom was also beautiful.There was a big wardrobe and baeautiful furnitures.

On monday evening there is a buffet for €30 that is very very good, we never saw that before. But the other days the price for dinner is also €30 en we were not satisfied. So the following days we went to eat in the city where you can choose more typical dishes for a better price.
The breakfast buffet is very good ( cold and warm)

The hotel is very good, big beautiful rooms with a good airconditioning, beautiful bathroom, a terrace with a table and chairs and with a beautiful view on the Vesuvius.The breakfast buffet was very good.

The food and drink in the hotel is very expensive and we ended up eating out every night.

The hotel is nice and clean but overall looking at all of the hotels in Sorrento it would only be on the middle of the scale.

Very comfortable and enjoyable. We suggested in the hotel's own assessment form that a kettle/tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and a wall mounted trouser press, would have been appreciated-- Room / laundry service is not always what is wanted, especially in the early morning

The hotel itself was a considerable disappointment. The hotel was surrounded on three sides by residential areas - one block of apartments overlooked the main swimming pool and the rear garden was little more than a patio. The web pictures of the roof pool were misleading as this was little more than a plunge pool with some chairs. Parking, at €13/day, was expensive

Given the less-than-desirable location the hotel did not represent good value for money and we would not recommend.

The hotel has an agreement with the Europa Palace hotel whereby guests of the Grand Hotel can use the Europa Palace garden and beach front facilities. However reception staff at the Europa Palace do not make Grand Hotel guests at all welcome.
