By plane: The nearest airport to Syracuse is the Aeroporto di Catania-Fontanarossa, where flights from Italy and European capitals arrive on a regular basis. Otherwise you will have longer trips from Rome and Palermo. Anyway at any of these terminals you will find buses and trains to take you to the Grand Hotel Villa Politi.
By car: Once you leave the airport, go along the Stradale Primosole and then the SS114 route up to the exit towards "Siracusa". Drive along the SS124. As you approach Syracuse, turn right into Viale Ermocrate and take Via Necropoli del Fusco. Turn left at Viale Paolo Orsi and then again into Corso Gelone. This track will lead you out of Syracuse, and afterwards you must turn right into Viale Teocrito. |
