By Plane:
The airport of Torino Caselle is only 16 km far from the town centre. It can be reached through a main road or Turin's ring road that, thanks to its junction with the motorway network, connects it quickly to the major cities of northern Italy and southern France. A public bus service connects the airport with the centre of Turin from early morning until midnight and it takes about 40 minutes.
If you wish to take a taxi, the airport taxi rank is on the Arrivals level in front of domestic/EU flights gate. Finally can also get to Turin from the airport via train: from the railway station at 140 metres from the airport, trains connect the airport of Caselle to Dora Station in Turin every half an hour from about 5 a.m. to about 10 p.m. The trip time is about 20 minutes.
By Train:
Turin is a nationally and internationally important railway junction. The main stations in Turin are:
Porta Nuova: corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 53
Porta Susa: piazza XXVIII Dicembre, 8
Lingotto: via Pannunzio, 1
Stazione Dora: piazza Baldissera
The closest station is Porta Nuova at only 500 meters from the hotel. Just walk out the station and turn right and walk up, you will find the hotel just in front of you. Alternativaly, if you have loats of luggage take a taxi.
By Car:
An excellent road network connects Turin to the main national and European communication routes. Turin can be reached not only through motorways but also through the main tunnels and passes connecting Italy, France and Switzerland. The following are the motorways on which you can arrive to Turin:
A21 Turin - Piacenza 8 km
A6 Turin - Savona 8 km
A4 Turin - Milan 10 km
A5 Turin - Aosta 10 km
_ From Aosta and Milan:
Go ahead on A5 and pass by Torino Nord toll (from Aosta) or Settimo Torinese toll (from Milan), then had towards "Torino/Corso G. Cesare/Corso Vercelli/SS11/Chivasso" and then towards "Torino/Corso G. Cesare/Corso Vercelli". Once in Corso G.Cesare, head towards "Savona/Piacenza" and you will arrive in Turin. On Piazza Derna's roundabout, take the 1st exit and go ahead in Corso Grosseto for less than 100 meters, then turn left in Corso Vercelli. After 100 meters then turn right in Via Arturo Toscanini and go straight ahead for about 2.5 kms. At the roundabout of Ronḍ della Forca, take the 5th exit and continue along Corso Principe Eugenio for 100 meters. Then turn left in Corso Giambattista Beccaria and continue along in Corso San Martino, Piazza 18 Dicembre and Via Santa Teresa for about 1 km. Then turn right in Via San Francesco d'Assisi and you will end up in Via Dell'Arcivescovado, where the hotel is located. |
