Itis a beautiful setting, with great food and the room acommidations were wonderful. We had a great expierence there. The rooms were very clean and they were well maintained. Everyone there was very helpful and polite. We would'nt hesitate to stay there again on our next trip to Sicily. Thank You..

The full size of the property is very big, there is alot of beautiful things on that property to see. It is close to a lot of beautiful small towns so there is alot of nice places to go shop,eat and do some good site seeing.

What a wonderful place!!! The owners were so friendly and welcoming. We had dinner there and it was delicious. Most of the meal came from what they produced on the farm.
Delightful setting. Amazing how much work went into renovating the old monastery which then became a farm that had fallen into disrepair.

I cannot say enough great things about Agriturismo Gigliotto. I used my Napolitan and Calabrese dialects and some English to communicate with all the folks. They appreciated my attempts to communicate with them, and actually enjoyed hearing the dialect combination. In just two nights there, we made many friends and spoke regularly to the staff. We left there feeling we had spent time with a close friend or relative. It was also obvious to us by the number of local people that we saw, that this place is well known among the local community for its food and catering abilities. The pictures on the wall displayed the huge amount of time and effort that this family has put in in order to restore this farmhouse.

This place has all the things that you look for when traveling: warm, friendly people, great food and beautiful surroundings. When you leave a place such as this one, feeling like you are saying goodbye to a close friend or relative and sad that your stay was too short, you know you have made a great choice. I have stayed at a variety of B&B's and farmhouses throughout Italy and this one ranks up there as one of the best. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay was delightful and the staff was wonderful. The accomodations were better than expected and the grounds were beautiful. It was certainly a highlight of our trip. The food not to be missed. Would certainly return and recommend to fellow travelers.

An excellent experience of country life in Sicily. We ate our evening meal in the dining room and were treated to a hearty home cooked country meal consisting of 4 courses plus a bottle of wine and a bottle of water and coffee for 20 euros each. The owners and other guests were very friendly and we felt very welcome.

Although we arrived very late in the evening (around 22.00 hr), we could take a warm meal when we asked for it.

One little comment about the room: the doorlock didn't function very good. More than one time we had to ask for assistance because we could not get the door closed. It needs a repair!

The staff is very friendly and gives you a warm Sicilian wellcome. The meals in the restaurant were rich, good and typical Sicilian, served with a beautifull smile.

If you ever visit Sicily, you have to stay one or more days at Agriturismo Gigliotto. It is very beautifull and clean.

There was an initial confusion, as the hotel
was under impression that double room was
two separate single rooms not a
'matrimonial'room. The room I received had
an extra bunk beds inside,it would have been
better without them. Apart from that it was
a great experience. Thank you!

Our arrival was very nice. The owners were there to greet us which adds to a welcomed feeling. The first impression is also good since the property is very attractive.

A charming place to stay in the country, situated in a great location. The owners and staff add to the comfort and welcome feeling of Gigliotto. There is a real family atmosphere. The Sicilian meals were very good, using fresh ingredients from the region. My room was clean and spacious.

Staff was most helpful and cooperative--our rudimentary Italian was met with good-natured attempts to understand. The multi-coursed dinner meal was spectacular, made more so by the dining room staff, who were fun and eager to please.

We had a wonderful stay - the food far surpassed our expectations. The only problem was that the peace was shattered by ongoing on-site building work, but this sort of one-off would not stop us from recommending the property.

We were in the newer building in the back -- walls are not soundproof -- we could hear everything said in other rooms on our floor

Beautifully renovated -- however both nights we stayed there very large parties (wedding reception and birthday party) were being held in the same large room where we were dining. Very noisy, distracting and not what we wanted after a long day touring the area.

We arrived in late morning,in the midst of the confusion of getting rooms ready for newly arrived guests.

Very nice people and a good stay. The shower in our room was broken (it was a hand-held wall-mounted unit, but the wall mount was broken, so we had only the hanging hand-held unit), and there was no soap for the shower. We mentioned it but nothing was done.

A pleasant stay, although things sometimes were just a tad rough around the edges.. We met some interesting people there. I think the hosts forgot to charge us for a couple of incidentals (bottle of bubbly, evening coffees, a glass of grappa), but perhaps they 'threw them in.' There is a lot of work going on to make the facility even better than it is. I would recommend the place to others without question.

Friendly, spacious, quite handy. Not a first-class hotel, but not merely a 'bed and breakfast' in someone's home. This is quite a large establishment with, I guess, a dozen rooms. While there, they hosted a good-sized wedding reception, but it didn't interfere with our comfort. In fact, we enjoyed it and were dragged out onto the dance floor by several in the wedding party.

It was a little difficult as it was sunday and the restaurant was fully booked when we arrived so there was no one around to tell us where to go and what to do but when we eventually found someone they were very efficient.

It was a great disappointment that the swimmingpool was not finished. I noted in the brochure that it should have been available but there is still a way to go yet. The setting is wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay there and breakfast was lovely. We would stay there again.

A good place to stay for one or two nights to see Piazza Amerina but there was not much to do in the evening and unless the pool was ready it would not be a good place for children for more than a day. We enjoyed it as a break from the towns and the views and peace and quiet were just what we wanted

lovely property and very accommodating with special meal requests and on-site changes. My only disappointment was that the swimming pool was not maintained and was full of stagnant water. Dinner was excellent.
