In Bormio there are 3 different thermal centers:
Bormio Terme, Bagni Vecchi - Old Roman Baths, Bagni Nuovi - New Baths.
The hot thermal water gushes out from 9 various hot spings at the temperature of 36° - 41° C.
The Genzianella is one of the cooperating hotels of Bagni di Bormio SPA resort. Our guests will have the precedence in case of cueing and a reduction on the entrance fee.

Ski
Alta Valtellina is equipped with nearly seventy ski lifts. with a total capacity of approximately 90,000 persons per hour, they make it possible to ski on 170 km (550.000 feet) of perfect snow-covered runs in a splendid natural setting with a vertical drop of 1,800 meters (5.900 feet). It is the highest difference in altitude in the Alps from the ski lift served point to the bottom of the run.
Bormio Bike
Mortirolo, Gavia, Stelvio pass, Foscagno pass, Bernina pass
Two things in common: all these great climbs are very close to Bormio and all are a meeting point for the champions of the Giro d'Italia and cycling lovers.
But you do not have to be super well trained to have fun you in AltaValtellina_ you can always go up with the gondola and come down with your mountain bike!
Moreover for mountain bike friends:
- A new trails-net between Livigno, Bormio, St.Moritz and Pontresina
- The routes cross the Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio, swathed in greenery. - 1,119.63 km of routes mapped with Gps in all 35 proposals with a difference in altitude of 40,000 mt.
