Delightful, friendly, warm and charming. ... The word 'NO' doesn't seem to exist in the vocabulary of this hotel's staff, most of whom are family members.
The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds that we have ever slept on, and the pillows were full-size (UK) and plump.
The rooms (suite) including the bathroom, were spotless and tastefully furnished, and in the bathroom the towels were of generous proportions, and were changed daily. ... Efficient, friendly and unhurried. ... Pool towels are provided. Shower and toilet facilities by the pool. There is no restaurant in the hotel, although they do serve snack-lunches (Hot-dog, paninis etc) by the pool. ... Fantastic, classy, friendly. The jewel in the Sorrentine peninsula's crown!

Instructions on getting from the airport to the hotel should be made more clearer. The options of airport bus, train or boat connections would really help any traveller ... The hotel was one of the best that I have ever stayed at. I have made this comment on the Trip Advisor web site.

Everything was good. ... A wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Garden. We are sure to return. ... I think it worth stating about the public transport, that it is convenient, cheap and very good.
... A wonderfully located hotel on the Bay of Naples, in a quiet, peaceful area on the edge of Sorrento. The staff are most friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spotless and well appointed. And the facilities just right for an enjoyable time in the area.

We were promptly and personally welcomed and greatly appreciated the gesture of a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon!! ... This is a wonderful hotel with excellent staff, courteous and helpful willing to go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable We cannot praise them enough. ... Sea views are breathtaking.
Unfortunate that Restaurant does not provide evening meal. I think we hit the nearest taverna on a bad night. Moonlight restaurant was good value.

the swimming pool was not open the first days, but we get a card to swim in a hotel not foreaway from The Hotel Villa Garden ...
the use of the swimming pool is it a private one or is it aload to 'strangers' outside the hotel ... Little hotel - what means that it is very quiet - it is running by a family what means that you get directly a family atmosphere. The envoriment is perfect, fantastic. The reception helped us and give us good information of the region.

We could not have been greeted in a nicer, more friendly way. Both Garbiella and Paola are charming and made our stay perfect. ... My wife and I have travelled all over the world and we can hosestly say that our (too) short at the Villa garden was one of our best holidays. ... Everybody was most helpful and arranged for a car to take us to naples Airport and our luggage was taken from our room (with a beautiful view...105 !) and stowed in the taxi with no fuss at all. ... The web site was very good indeed. If anything we didn't realize quite how perfect the hotel is. ... Perfect! Please don't change a thing!

Petit hôtel avec tout le charme d'une demeure familiale. Très accueillant, bien tenu à tout point de vue. Personnel très aimable et toujours au service du client avec le sourire. Une adresse à recommander sans retenue.

Your directions seemed clear, but street signs in the area are lacking. ... We spent two weeks in Italy, stayed in 6 hotels. This was the best. View is breathtaking, staff always helpful. ... Delightful hotel---you will not want to leave!

The view from room 205 was absolutely amazing! ... They arranged a car to take us to the train station in Naples and it was there right on time. ... The view from room 205 was absolutely amazing! ... A slight distance from downtown Sorrento, but the views from the front rooms of the hotel are amazing and the price is very good.

The staff were not forthcoming about trips and excursions available, for example through coach tour companies. There was a folder left in a public room, but we did not realise just what was available to us, eg coach tours. If we asked the staff, then they told us, and were happy to arrange it. But we had to ask. It would be useful to have better advice too, about restaurants. The hotel only recommended a few, but there are some superb restaurants in Sorrento - we had to discover for ourselves. For example, O'Parruchio was a wonderful experience. There seemed to be a pattern about the hotel staff not telling guests things or offering suggestions. ... Rather far from Sorrento centre and the local buses are difficult to deal with for non-Italians - some drivers pretty unfriendly. ... Elegant small hotel, classy with friendly accommodating staff. Fine location on the cliff over the sea, with breakfast gallery overlooking the Bay of Naples. Sant'Agnello is a pleasant town, though you will need to be determined to get to and from Sorrento to get the best out of that town (which ahs a lot to offer).

A very nice quiet location, but at end of season public transport into Sorrento was poor, and not many restruant choices in Sant Agnello ... Very nice tastefull hotel, beautiful location. Small and able to give personal service, only downside was getting into and back from sorrento

Driver (hired car from Positona) had difficulty finding hotel. (I) Thought it was in Sorrento, when actually it is a suburb just outside Sorrento. Minor detail.
We arrived just after lunch and were unable to find a nearby restaurant open after 2:00. The front desk manager gratiously made us two sandwiches which fit our needs. We had them with a beer by the pool and this definately help make our stay make us feel welcome. ... As in most European hotels, the rooms were very small. Ours was, undoubtedly, the best room in the hotel as it was the only one with a large balcony, that we particularly enjoyed, and which made the bedroom seem more commodious. The pool area was delightful. Also, a very nice made-to-order breakfast. ... The hotel was really not a 'short' walk to Sorrento. It was perhaps only 15 minutes, but it was a heavily trafficked and not pedestrain friendly street. Again, not a real big deal. Bus caught to town without major problem and cabbed it back or took nearby train for small fee. The hotel also had a car available to shuttle people into town, pretty much when they wanted to go, as long as it was between 10-12; only wish this service available for longer period, like a few hours in the evening so guests could go to town for dinner. ... Lovely view but you must be sure to get the room with the large balcony directly over the entrance. Rooms a little cramped (with not much closet space) but pool (and balcony) more than compensate.

The room we had, room 105, is the only room with a large terrace and should be always requested if available. The terrace offered spectacular views/ ... A very attractive place to stay.

As I arranged a private transfer, it was not necessary to look at the directions.
I booked the hotel independently, did not expect a special welcome. ... I was very impressed with the hote and have since my return recommended it to a friend who has already booked for next year!!!
I found the level of service very high and would defintely return. Being a small privately family run hotel, I think the staff work very hard to ensure you have had an enjoyable stay. I look forward to returning very soon!!! ... None ... None ... Small tranquil family run hotel with a great aspect - good access into Sorrento town centre.

clean. good location - nice views; not so good location - far away from center of Sorrento. It's harder to catch a bus since it's not regular (during June). Many Motorcyclists hang out in front of the hotel at night and they were loud.
