Coming by air from Linate airport (approx. 4 km)
By bus: Stam shuttle service every 20 minutes from 05.40 am to 19 pm and every 30 minutes from 19 pm to 21 pm.
Otherwise you can take the ATM bus n. 73 running every 10 minutes. Get off at the Terminus in Piazza San Babila and then take the MM1 towards Sesto FS and get off at Lima stop.
Coming by air from Malpensa airport
Airpulman shuttle bus running every 30 minutes from 05.15 am to 11.30 am and every 60 minutes from 11.30 am to 20.30 pm with stop at the Central railway
station. From the railway station you can easily reach the hotel on foot walking towards the city centre.
Coming by car
We recommend taking the Tangenziale Est. Exit at "Lambrate" and follow the city centre directions. Carry straight on throught numerous traffic lights up to
Piazzale Loreto (around 3 km). Turn into Corso Buenos Aires: Piazza Lima and the Hotel Galles are exactly halfway down the road. You will see our signs on
your left.
How do I get to the fair area (with the underground)
You can take the red line (directly at the Hotel) in direction "Molino Dorino" and get out at the eleventh stop "Amendola Fiera". At the return: take the train in direction "Sesto" and get out at the stop MM "Lima".
How do I get to the Duomo/Scala (on feet or by underground)
- On feet: while making shopping: go out of the hotel and turn to the right to Piazza Lima and at the left to Corso Buenos Aires and afterwards always
straight to Corso Venezia,Piazza San Babila, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Piazza Duomo.
- By underground: take the red line (in front of the hotel) in direction "Molino-Dorino" or "Bisceglie" and go out at the fourth stop called "Duomo".
How do I get to the central station (by bus or on feet)
- by bus: leave the hotel and go to the right to Piazza Lima. Near by at the crossroad (beside Via Plinio) you will see the busstop for the bus no. 60 and
the tram no. 33.
Go out at the third stop (Piazza Duca D'Aosta): you will be at the Central Station.
- On feet: leave the hotel and go to the right to Piazza Lima.
Go to the right to Via Vitruvio. Go down all the Via Vitruvio and after 300 meters you will find Piazza Duca D'Aosta (Central Station).
How do I get to the Cenacolo (by underground)
Take the red line (directly at the front of the hotel) in direction "Molino-Dorino" or "Bisceglie" and go out at the seventh stop at "Cardorna". From hear ask for the indications up to Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie.
How do I get to the shopping area
We recommend you to visite the shops of Corso Buenos Aires, one of the most important shopping areas of the world, a big commercial point of Milan.
Having a plesant walking in Corso Buenos Aires in direction to the center you will get easily to the Via della Spiga and from their to Via S.Andrea, Via Montenapoleone, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and so on. |
