None. Hotel Fontebella is very central to the town, but I think all of that was stated on the website. We enjoyed our stay there very much, and loved Assisi.

Beautiful views! The room is comfortable and has everything you need for a short visit. The staff are helpful and friendly.

driving into Assisi is somewhat complicated. explicit directions by street would have been helpful. It wasn't obvious that one could actually drive into the city, this being our first city approached by car and so we were quite bewildered.

We had a handicapped person and they made special arrangements without any trouble. They gave them an extra large room. There is a working elevator.

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. The car was safely parked just outside the door (for free). The rooms had a wonderful view of the Umbria countryside. We were steps away from San Francesco. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Very nice, clean room with spectacular views. The room was very quiet and the staff helpful. We had a balcony room overlooking the valley.

At first the rooms allocated were not right, but the staff were efficient and this was quickly rectified.

The room had a fantastic view and was on one of the top floors which was a pleasant surprise as we thought were going to be staying in a ground level room.

We did arrive earlier than the advertised check in, and although there was a porter on duty, the experience was hampered by him not being able to speak English. However, he was welcoming and communicated as best he could through non-verbal communication!

It would help to have directions to the hotel from the autostrada to the actual hotel. We went up the wrong street and ended up on the opposite side of town. We had to find someone to help us with directions....it was very stressful.

parking.....you have a small lot outside the hotel, but you must be there early to reserve a space.

clean, quite. Had a nice view of the valley. The bathroom was small and the shower did not drain well, nor had a lot of hot water.
The hotel was in a great location in Assisi. We could walk to all the major sites.

There was no room available for parking, but the porter quickly came and retrieved our bags -- we were advised of additional available parking. The porter was most friendly and helpful as well as the receptionist.

Well furnished, clean, friendly staff. I would also recommend the restaurant on site. The view from the rooms was exceptional.

Nice hotel, quite overpriced, the room smaller than expected, with a lot of noise from the restaraunt entrance right under the windows.
