Hotel Floridiana is located in the city centre, about 50 metres far from the Cathedral and 100 metres from the beachside. You are just in the heart of Amalfi life: there are some moments in the village's life that you can not miss: the apéritif in the square overlooking the Duomo at 7 pm, dinner with fresh local fish followed by a glass of "limoncello" and the "promenade" along the narrow cobblestone streets of the town admiring handmade jewelry, clothing, ceramics and local products. |

Coming by plane:
The nearest airport is "Naples Capodichino" about 50 km far from Amalfi. To reach the Amalfi Coast, you can either catch a taxi or take the public bus ANM to Naples city, then, from Naples central train station in Piazza Municipio, the Sita bus service going directly to Amalfi. Once at the bus stop take the main street of the historical centre (just opposite the hotel and walk for approx. 300 metres. You will find the hotel on the right hand-side.
Coming by train:
The nearest railway station is "Salerno", about 22 km from Amalfi. You can either catch a taxi or take the Sita bus going directly to Amalfi about each hour excepted Sundays and working days. Once at the bus stop take the main street of the historical centre (just opposite the hotel and walk for approx. 300 metres. You will find the hotel on the right hand-side.
Coming by Ferry:
Amalfi can be reached from Naples by ferry (Beverello harbour) and from Salerno taking the ferry at Piazza della Concordia, 70 metres far from Salerno railway station.
Coming by car:
For those travelling by car Hotel Floridiana offers a large private garage. Given that the hotel is located in a pedestrian area we ask our guests to reach the hotel on foot and then we will give full details about the parking.
- From North Italy:
A1 Highway up to Naples and then follow directions for highway A3 and Salerno. On A3 take junction "Vietri sul Mare", follow signs for Amalfi and you will be on the famous Amalfi drive. Stop when you arrive in Amalfi and park your car in the central square (Piazza F. Gioia) and reach the hotel on foot. Walk towards the historical centre and after approx. 300 metres you will find the hotel on the right hand-side.
- From South Italy:
A3 highway take the junction for Salerno Centro. Turn left following signs for Vietri sul Mare and Amalfi, after driving for about 3 km you will be on the Amalfi drive. Stop when you arrive in Amalfi, park your car in the central square (Piazza F. Gioia) and reach the hotel on foot. Walk towards the historical centre and after approx. 300 metres you will find the hotel on the right hand-side. |
