The Hotel Excelsior Splendide is situated in the centre of Bellagio just in front of the lake. Bellagio, "the pearl of the lake", is on the tip of a promontory at the end of the chain of mountains where the lake bifurcates. The historic and tourist centre is towards the bottom part of the promontory while its many suburbs are scattered on the hills and overlook both the south-eastern and south-western branches of lake Como. |
By train: From Como Railway station you should take the bus to Bellagio (bus stop at 30 mt from the hotel) or the hydrofoil (Port at 50 mt from the hotel).
By bus: From Como or Lecco there are buses every half an hour.
By car:
