 Villa Melzi: 10 minutes walking form the hotel
Magnificent residence built in 1808 for Duke Francesco Melzi D'Eril, friend and political associate of Napoleon Bonaparte.Tickets include entrance to the neo-classic chapel, the museum ant the park with its interesting sculptures and stupendous azaleas and rhododendrons.The present owner is Count Gallarati Scotti.
Villa Serbelloni: at 10 minutes walking from the hotel, from its 18th century garden Villa Serbelloni offers splendid views of the Como and Lecco branches of the lake, as well as the views of the lake's northern branch and the pre-alps from the remains of the fortification on the top of the promontory. Villa's Serbelloni park can only be visited on guided tours. |
