• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 2pm, Check Out before midday.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  Per room.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  Yes.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Yes.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Italian.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  4 floors in the Cardinal Building; 3 floors in the Queen's Pavilion. We have elevators in both buildings.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Yes.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  Yes, some do.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  Yes, some do.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  No but we have a special machine used to sterilize the rooms.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  Yes, all rooms are equipped with sarellite TV.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  Yes, all rooms have direct dial international phone.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  Air conditioning in all rooms (heating in winter and freezing in summertime). No extra charge for it.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  Yes. All rooms have internet connection.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  Yes, there are an open-air heated swimming pool floating on We have an outdoor pool floating on the lake (heated and with jacuzzi) and an outdoor children pool, booth open May/September (depend on weather conditions); indoor pool open March/November.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Yes.
• Where can we rent a car?
  Directly at the hotel.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  Yes, in the village, walking distance.
• Are there vineyards nearby?
  Franciacorta vineyards, about 2 hours driving from Villa d'Este.
• Which is the nearest village or town?
  Cernobbio nearest village (walking distance); Como nearest town (10 minutes driving).
• Which is the nearest airport?
  The nearest airport is "Malpensa" in Milan, 65 km away (45 minutes driving); Milano Linate (one hour driving) and Lugano Agno (Switzerland)- 30 minutes driving.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  We can arrange private taxi from/to the airports, on request.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  5 minutes walking.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Como S. Giovanni railway station, 5 km far from the villa.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  Yes; we have the Villa d'Este Sporting Club with Sauna, steam bath, gym room, squash, indoor pool and golf simulator. 8 tennis courts (6 clay). SPA for beauty treatments (face and body) and massage.
• Are pets welcome?
  Yes. (not allowed in the restaurants).
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  Yes; we have 3 restaurants, La Veranda, formal (jacket & tie required at dinner), Italian and international food, Il grill (dinner only), smart casual, Italian and local food, Non Solo Pasta, casual, salad and pasta buffet (dinner only). Pool bar for snacks and light lunch during summertime.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Yes (internet connection availale in all rooms).
