You will find Entropia Country House on 6 Via Loreto Grutti, only 6 kilometres from the main square in Todi, known as Piazza del Popolo. This can be a great starting point for your tours around the Umbria region, with interesting cities to visit such as Gubbio -55 kms-, Deruta -20 kms- and Assisi -45 kms-. |
By plane: The airports you will find more convenient to reach the farmhouse are Fiumicino in Rome -for international flights- or Sant Egidio in Perugia, which welcomes flights from London, Milan and Tirana on a regular basis. The first is placed 165 km away from the inn, while the second is much nearer, at a distance of 46 km.
By car: If you are driving from Sant Egidio, where Perugia airport is located, you must take road SP247-I and continue along Strada Ponte Valleceppi-Sant Egidio till road SS3BIS/ E45. Turn left into this track and take the exit towards Pantalla, join SP241 in the direction Collanzone/ San Terenziano and veer right into Via Belvedere. Turn right again in SP241 and you will arrive in Grutti. In order to reach the property, as you drive along Via Torino, take your right at the first street that goes in this direction and you will find another track coming out of it: this is Via Loreto, where the inn is located. (36 minutes).
- From Rome: you must drive around 2 hours. As you leave the terminal in Fiumicino, get on highways A91 and A90 before taking road A1DIR/E35 towards Firenze. Get off at the exit for Orte and turn right into SS204 and afterwards, take SS675. Along this track, you must get off at the exit for SS3BIS/ Perugia/ SS71/ Cesena and afterwards continue along road E45. Descend at the exit for Massa Martana and at Villa San Faustino, continue along SS316/ SR316 towards Gianno Dell` Umbria. Turn left in SP241 and you will arrive in Grutti. In order to reach the property, as you drive along Via Torino, turn left at the centre of this little town and you will find another track coming out of it: this is Via Loreto.
By train:
- From Perugia airport: you can take the buses that reach the train station in the centre of the city: afterwards, get on the trains that leave to Todi (1 hour journey, they usually make a stop at Perugia Porte San Giovanni). From the station -placed around 6 kms from the property- hire a taxi to reach the Entropia.
- From Fiumicino: take the express railway service that goes from the airport to Termini railway station. Once here, there are trains departing to Todi that take 2 hours, approx (making a stop first in Terni). |
