It was wonderful. Raffaele and his staff arranged for a car to pick us up at the Naples train station. The driver was on time, met us just at the exit of the station and gave us a very enjoyable ride to the hotel where he insisted we not touch our bags and he, along with the hotel staff, transported the bags to our room. It was a great start.

This was one of the best, if not THE best hotel experience my new wife and I have ever had. Everything, from top to bottom, was wonderful and the attention to detail of the facility is incredible. The staff was wonderful. They have a first rate, top notch facility and team of people that they should be very proud of. I would be hard pressed to think of something that they could have improved on - our stay was perfect - a perfect 3 day stay to end our 2 week honeymoon in Italy. Thank you Eden Roc !

A magical place that and magical hotel that was absolutely perfect. No detail too small was not attended to and the staff was always there to make sure our stay was perfect. It is the best hotel we have stayed at and we can not wait to return to our new Positano home at Eden Roc !

Unbelievable location and views,but again the attention of all staff,including the owner Domenico and his 2 sons,made the difference.This may be a 4 star hotel but it has 6 star service.
My only complaint would be that the Restaurant on the premises does not live up to the stellar experience everywhere else in the hotel

The family that owns the hotel was extremely helpful and a joy to work with; helped us get ceramics boxed and shipped home to California. Gladly recommended restaurants for us to go to and made reservations; helpled us in getting drivers and train tickets. Room was spectacular! Our only wish was that the hotel was located on a quieter street; being on the main street was tiresome due to the noise from cars and busses -- but the view helped overcome that small inconvenience. We have told people about how happy we were with your website and the Hotel Eden Roc.

We have already told them that we enjoyed our stay immensely. Friendly staff, excellent restaurant; fabulous views, enormous room; balcony to die for...but be prepared for a lot of traffic noise, especially in the late afternoon if you come back to the hotel to rest before evening activities.

Very clean and quaint. Large patio in the upstairs suites, with a view of the ocean. View of the Coastline and Positano itself were obstructed by our adjoining patio. You get can breakfast served to you on your patio for a 6 Euro delivery charge. This is nice to do once, but the spread in the restaurant is much more impressive than the limited breakfast delivered to your room. Exercise room needs a little work. Overall a very nice experience.

One pedantic criticism (because I have been a safety manager) - there is no emergency plan in the room to tell you what to do in the case of fire or alarm

Positano and the Eden Roc Hotel in particular are wonderful, relaxing locations with superb food and service. It was also one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed in

After a very stressful trip by train we were greeted by a driver arranged by the hotel who had kept in contact with the driver to let him know we had been delayed. This put our minds at ease. when we arrived at the hotel it was quite late due to the train and we were greeted by a lovely gentleman, i think it was the night porter who brought our bags to our room. All of the staff in the hotel were very friendly, from the waiters at breakfast to the receptionists who helped us book trips and recommend restaurants. I can definitely recommend this hotel to anybody. It was a lovely start to our honeymoon.

This was our first time to book a hotel over the internet and i will definitely use this sight again as your description of the Eden roc was very precise.

The hotel was exactly as we had hoped, very romantic, set into a cliff with the most amazing picture postcard views of the town of Positano. The pool was on the highest level of the hotel so when you looked out all you could see was the beautiful blue sea. It was only about 8 mins walk to the main area with the restaurants and bars.
Would love to return for our first anniversary.

This is a great place to stay and made even better by owners and staff. The owners gave several recomendations on how we could enhance our stay in Positano -- dinner reservations, sight seeing, travel arrangements etc that definitely added to our over all experience.

The Casola family have owned this property for a long time (over 25 years) and live in Positano near the hotel. They are personally involved in the day to day operations and do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable.

The reception staff were very friendly and helped organise our transfers there and then provided us with a better room as it was our honeymoon and provided us with a map and directions to get around Positano.

It is difficult to obtain hot water in the bathroom in the evening.

The hotel may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties, or health problems, as, althugh it is only a few minutes' walk from the centre & beach, the walk back is entirely up a fairly steep hill.

Fairly small, family-run, with a very friendly staff, & good food. Large bedrooms with balconies overlooking the sea, but you can be disturbed in the morning by traffic outside. A short walk to the town centre & beach.

This is not quite a 4 star hotel. More 3 star. Thin plastic disposable beakers in the bathroom and minibar. A lack of personal touches in the rooms - very few decorations (photographs, paintings, flowers, ornaments etc). Tiny TV. Very clean and tidy but not sumptuous in any way. A distinct lack of luxury. The pictures on the web site made it look more luxurious than it was.

Road noise from the front of the hotel interrruped our sleep every night. It is on the main road and the vespas and buses are very noisy.

Only adverse comment was that of the TV programs obtainable to view only CNN news was in English which as an English visitor meant we could not really use the TV, except for the news.
