Very convenient location for visiting Lake Garda, Verona and Venice. My parents were delighted with the good and unintrusive service. I'd come back - the best recommendation in my book!

we did get accomommodation stated in the voucher, however there was no balcony and only a roof window, so I was dissapointed.

The room was hoovered, shower room cleanened, fresh towels, and bed made every day which was to a very high standerd.

Yes should read possibly? Having discovered Agriturismo accommodation, I find it provides better value/quality. Also I stayed at another Hotel on Garda (San Marco in Peschierra) which was 4*, better location and only marginally more expensive.

Hotel is a little frayed around the edges and needs some refurb. Now having seen the area, there are hotels that I would use in preference to Dogana, but I may use the site again.

The hotel was a bit far from the town and the bus service ran only every hour. The comfort of the hotel made up for that and in the end did not pose a problem.

The pool was terrific, but no pool towels were provided. The restaurant and service were excellent.
The air conditioning in the room didn't work very well.
THe staff was courteous and professional.

The hotel over charged me. They charged for my original reservation, which was for 6 nights, however, I stayed only 3 nights. When I called the next day they were apologetic and sent me a check with a refund.

Air conditioning in room was not powerful enough. We were very hot at night.
Shower holder was loose.
Service at breakfast was at times very slow and food / drink which ran out (eg fruit juice / hot water / milk / glasses) was not quickly replaced.

Pleasant & relaxed, maybe a little over-priced. Excellent pizza restaurant and good swimming pool.

The directions to the hotel were generally good. As we are tourists and therefore unfamiliar with Italian roads and signage, it is always helpful to have directions with references to local sites, or buildings, i.e., 'you will pass a bank building and then take the next street on your left,' or to state the distances between points, i.e., go 2 kl beyond the traffic circle and take the first right hand turn.'

The staff was very nice. We overslept in the morning and missed breakfast by about two hours. Nonetheless, the staff cherrfully volunteered to provide coffee before we left. Additionally, the staff allowed us to overstay our checkout time by about 45 minutes.

You may wish to emphasize that the hotel has what appears to be quite a nice restaurant. (As we did not eat here, I cannot comment on the food.) We arrived during a particularly cold period, and found warm and inviting wood fires in the breafast room and the main dining room.
