 The Hotel Dogana is situated on the Lake Garda, not far from Sirmione and its thermal baths and close to all the attractions in this area and to the towns of Verona, Brescia, Mantova and Venice. The original structure of the "Dogana" dates back to 1720, when it was an austrian barracks. The building has been several times restructured and renovated, and it still reveales in the inside original parts and style recalling to the 18th century. |
 The elegant restaurant "à la carte" offers excellent italian cooking, with selection of dishes made of home made pasta, sea an lake fish, first quality products prepared with fantasy according to traditional recipes of this region. The wine-cellar of Hotel Dogana offers one of the best selection of wines of this area and other of Italy. A Pizzeria, with wood oven, offers a selection of pizzas to enjoy on the sun-terrace. |
 On summer you will be able to ride bicycle around Lake Garda, to discover panoramic spots and historical testimonies between beaches, olive groves and hills. In fact Hotel Dogana is situated close to the morainic hills of Mantova, that offer paths immersed in a nature rich of vineyards, orchards and tree-lined roads that will carry you in historical places like Solferino and S.Martino, and to Valeggio on the Mincio. |
Going along the Mincio river you will be able to arrive to the Natural Park of the Mincio, near Mantova. Other interesting excursion is the Veronese side of the Lake Garda with mount Baldo and the Valdadige. A net of secondary roads connects us to the bottom Garda, passing for Desenzano can arrive to the Valtenesi, to visit until Salò and catching up the Park High Garda. |
