 Discesa Santa Maria Flat is located in the historic centre of Ragusa Ibla, appreciated by lovers of Sicilian Baroque Art & Architecture. Following the destruction by earthquake of southern region of Sicily in 1963, Ibla was rebuilt in Baroque style, as was the wishes of the local noble families. The result is an amazing scene of wonder and grandeur: towering churches, majestic palaces, highly ornate balconies, angelic and floral motifs. The city now forms part of the Sicilian Baroque District, recognized and preserved by UNESCO. |

By plane:
From Catania Fontanarossa Airport: rent a car or take a bus. From the SS 514, take the Ragusa Ovest exit. Follow the signs to Ragusa Centro, there you will easily find Corso Mazzini where you will find our pink house.
By train:
From Catania Airport you can take the shuttle bus to the main railway station. From there you have to take train to Siracusa o Gela (it will takes about one hour), and then change to a local train to Ragusa. Once arrived at the Ragusa station you can take a taxi, we are situated about 1 km from the railway station.
By car:
- From Catania to Ragusa (82 km) take SS 194, then SS 514 exit Ragusa Ovest, direction city center. Then you will easily find Corso Mazzini where you will find our pink house.
- From Agrigento to Ragusa (140 km) take SS 115 Agrigento- Gela- Ragusa, direction city center. Then you will easily find Corso Mazzini where you will find our pink house.
- From Siragusa to Ragusa (90 km) take SS 115 Siracusa-Noto- Ragusa, direction city center. Then you will easily find Corso Mazzini where you will find our pink house. |
