The taxi fare from the airport was said to be 25 Euros. We asked for the driver to switch the metre on, but were told 'that was the price'. We do not know whether this was so or not. We had written down the address of the hotel on a piece of paper and the taxi driver found the hotel reasonably easily although he had to stop and ask people once he had got to the general St Eligio area.

The area of the hotel is a bit run down, but safe and well situated for walking round Naples: 20 minutes to the Castle Nuovo / Toledo area, 10 minutes to the start of the Historical Centre area and to the Circumvesuviana terminus. The hotel is comfortable. Breakfast is adequate. It can be taken on the roof terrace, which does not have great views but is well maintained and has potted plants to add pleasant greenery. The public space is very small: no breakfast room and only a very small sitting area (two sofas) located at the back of the entrance hall. Otherwise one has to stay in one's room. But this may possibly be standard for three-star hotels in Naples. Our room was on the second floor, en-suite, a good size and nicely furnished, although a comfortable couple of chairs would have been welcome. There is a good and reasonably priced Pizzeria next door, which is useful since there are no other eating places that we could see in the locality.

I really liked the hotel and the service. Very important
points to me where price, parking, breakfast, and
Internet. It was very clean, staff was very polite. Alla at the
reception desk, helped us tremendeously providing us
with very clear information: directions, directing us with
names of places to eat, and much more.
Internet for customers was also a great way of keeping in
touch with families back home. So it's also a big plus.

The hotel is lovely, just like the pictures on the internet/brochures. The staff were very helpful. We would have no problem recommending this hotel to people who wanted to stay in Naples.
The area it is situated in is a bit salubrious.
My wife had her handbag snatched by a man on a scooter. It would be nice to warn other visitors to be very aware of not just pick pockets but that people on scooters can snatch your bag very easily, especially if it is on your shoulder!

Towels were plentiful and sheets were nice and crisp.

Air condition did not reach to the second bedroom. All of us (family of 5) had to sleep in same room.

The hotel is charming and well appointed. However, although near to the train station, the surrounding neighborhood was not the most elegant.

I would explain that this hotel was good value for money; but be aware that the neighborhood was not pleasant.

the area isn't really described until you read the reviews. it would be good to state upfront that it is not in a nice/picturesque area but minutes from the centre of town
