The 'feel like at home' - atmosphere but having all the hotel services. I recall that this is mentioned in your website and this really is true. Also the restaurant downstairs was now proved by us to be the best on the area! :)

Beautiful, peaceful village of Cadenabbia. Very friendly landlady/owner Paola at Alberghetto della Marianna, clean, big rooms, good transportation connections; buses, ferries. Top-class restaurant downstairs with friendly, professional staff and really delicious food.

This would have to be one of the loveliest and friendliest places to stay. Paola and her husband provide very personal accomodation and exquisite food. We were very happy staying there and wish to return one day.

It would have to rate as a very personal business with delicious food in their restaurant.It means you don't need to go out for a meal. For someone wanting a quieter, family style business with superb food this is a gem.

We were promised a room with views of the lake. We did get a view by exiting the room, via a balcony, doing a 180 degree, turn down a 500mm wide balcony and then walking 15 metres!

The owner, Paolo was fantastic. Her English was very good. A great place to stay. Afternoon teas were terrific, and included in the price.

I did not get the room with a lake view on the first day but was offered it for the third day. The room I was assigned to was fine and cheaper than the room with a view so I decided to stay there during my entire visit.

My stay at Alberghetto della Marianne was the highlight of my trip to northern Italy. It is conveniently located and the view of Bellagio across the lake is a daily treat, especially as the sun is setting.

I would recommend this small hotel to a friend and have already recommended it to members of my family who are considering traveling in the same area.

I actually thought thatg the bed and breakfast was in Como so I was a bit surprised when I arrived in Como by train, got a taxi and showed him the address, that it was an 86 Euro taxi ride. It was a 3 Euro bus ride back once I figured out that I could get a bus. I didn't realize that I was going to Cadenabbia. It was fine however.

No TV. I think I orginally say where it said that there was TV and there was a TV in the breakfast room, which was a public area, but it was not working while we were there.

It is a nice B&B and the people who run it are very nice. The location is good in that the bus stops right in front of the place and the ferry and other boat service to move around the lake is an easy walk. It is a great and very scenic boat ride to Como taking about 2 hours.

Estamos encantados con nuestra estancia en la marianna, todo el equipo nos atendió estupendamente. Lo mejor los desayunos en la terraza con vistas al lago. Lo peor por un lado que no puedes salirte de los menús diarios, establecidos.

Not totally clear that the hotel was on the main road by the lake (but it was dark !)

Excellently situated halfway along the lake of Como, with ferryboats to Bellagio and to the other side.
An excellent base to go sightseeing around the lake of Como.

accomodations were changed because there were 3 persons and not 4. one got sick and was not able to travel to lake como.

traffic noise was unfortunate, as it was a problem if you left the window open for aeration.
