Lovely area, lovely hotel decorated beautifully in keeping with Assisi,and staff was accommodating and friendly-

I was told I could use American Express but finally was asked to go to the ATM machine acrorss the street to get cash to pay for my stay. This was the one disappointment of the stay. I wound up having to pay a service charge to get cash in order to check out.

it was a lovely hotel! The staff could not have been more helpful or polite. I would stay there again for sure. Very clean, very convenient.

Our room was very dimly lit--it was depressing on a grey winter day. I think this could be easily remedied by having a table lamp or floor lamp or two available. Similarly, the remodeled bathroom was lovely, but also the lighting was poor for putting on make up, shaving, etc.
The dining room was lovely and I wished we could have stayed there all day! Breakfast was nice, too.
The main floor reception area and lounge was also lovely.

I would describe it as above--lovely in all aspects, except for the poor lighting which created a depressing aspect in the room. With just a few changes in lighting, our room would have been much more enjoyable. Otherwise it was a nice experience and good value for our money.

We asked for an additional night. The lower priced room was all that was available and we chose to stay in it for the duration of our trip. We loved the hotel and would recommend it to others.

Would love if the hotel had free internet for those of us who carry lap top computers. If that would have been availuable it would have been a perfect stay.
