We had a lovely spacious room 108 with a small balcony and beautiful view of the hills of Umbria being an elevated site on the edge of the old historic walled town.Not sure , but as on a long 11 night stay the L shaped room looked more like an upgraded suite with a settee and single comfortable arm chair etc.! On arrival there was a complimentary bottle of Italian sparkling wine in the room as we were on Sunday June 26 celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary after 3 nights in Rome.All very nice.

Evening Dinner at a good reduced rate of 15 euros each was good value for 4 courses , but the 3 choices and food on the set menu was not great and on the first Sunday night we were the only ones dining in the Hotel Restaurant ! We therefore only dined there twice as there was an excellent choice of restaurants in the lovely hill town of Spoleto.Neverless the Hotel is used by Spoleto Rotary and others so maybe a better menu is available ? Breakfast was however excellent with a very good choice and always enjoyed by both of us every morning.

No problems - Reception booked a taxi to take us the short ride at c 4.30 pm to the Station at Spoleto to catch Eurostar train to Rome and eventual flight back to Bristol UK.

Modern comfortable Hotel on the edge of a lovely historic walled hill town with beautiful views . Good location next to Roman Theatre where ballet was held during our last week when the Festival of Two Worlds started so we could hear the music from our room in the evenings. Next to main Square where free music played each day at 11.00 am and 6.00 pm by a superb group fresh from St.Marks Square,Venice ! Also an excellent cheap bus service from Square to Rail Station and elsewhere around this small town.Spoleto is a historic gem with so so many ancient roads , footpaths & buildings.
