The 4 star hotel "Corte Altavilla", an old medieval court situated in a residential area in the historical centre of Conversano, (City of Art), where in the 1100 lived Sibilla d'Altavilla, Roberto Courtehouse's wife, the son of Guglielmo II the Conqueror. Following a complete restructure in the year 2002, a very unusual complex of antique dwellings located within the walls of the medieval Altavilla's court, has been transformed into a receptive centre with hotel rooms, elegant suites and apartments where wrought iron furnishings in original stone built rooms with barrel ceilings and wooden beams, charm the guests.

Here you can enjoy the emotion to experience an historical residence, the colours and fragrances of popular traditions, wine and cooking culture and tastes, a discreet and impeccable service, the wide range of choices of sightseeing itineraries, and the pleasure of an absolute rest.

From the small flats to the attics, from the suites with a sight onto the splendid Romanesque cathedral to the basements, everything is provided for your ideal sojourn in an intimate and sunny oases. Furniture and services respectful for the places and the requirements of our times. A plunge into a Medieval atmosphere skilfully revived in charming dwellings located in various alleys of the historical centre.
