The room was very well decorated and clean. However it was described as a juniour suite when it was simply a double room, and not a particularly large one.
The shower leeked which meant a wet floor after each use. Despite reporting this it was not fixed during stay.
Wet bath mats not changed.
The toilet flush did not work properly and again report did not result in correction.
Breakfast served in room was excellant.

My experience was wonderful. The staff at the hotel was excellent. They really helped me with transportation arrangements and were very helpful with excursions.

Wonderful hotel with helpful, kind and considerate staff. They were especially good to our children - an 8 year-old and a 4 year-old.
I would heartily recommend this hotel for its location , its ambience and its staff.

The hotel staff and room accomedations were surperb. When I return to Sorrento it would be the only place I would ever think of staying.

The hotel staff were always extremely helpful and pleasant. They spoke English very well. We always took there advise on where to eat and places of interest to visit. We were never dissapointed on there selections.

Don't waste your time looking for a better hotel more central to the activity of Sorrento or nearby attractions. Excellent value for the money.

A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL
THERE ARE NO TERRACES THAT HAVE A CLEAR VIEW OF THE GULF OF SORRENTO BUT THE WEB DOES NOT MAKE THAT CLEAR O.K. IF YOU STAND SIDEWAYS ON A CHAIR YOU CAN SEE THE SEA. WE WERE LUCKY WE HAD A BALCONY ON A CORNER WHICH WE PAID FOR.

Go with an open mind DON'T GET EXCITED ABOUT BREAKFAST and don't go half board.
Otherwise you will have a wonderful time because the hotel is in a prime position for the town and the Marina Grande Great Fantastic

The room was excellent and the quality of care was second to none. The cleanliness was superb and and the care was brilliant. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed but efficient.

We extended our stay whilst we were there and had full help and cooperation to so do. The reception staff went out of their way to help with this and arrange for our extra accommodation. They were also very pleasant.

A superb hotel with all the facilities of a top class venu. Very nice food and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The resort is lovely but one's stay at the Continental enhances this and turns the whole experience into a great holiday. I would definately go again.

No room service after midnight.
Earl Grey tea and orange juice available in pool bar but not in dining-room.
We had to pay for extra tea bag if we wanted a second cup of tea.
More fruit variety should be available at breakfast.

Breakfast was included in the rate but the quality of it was very poor to the point that on day 2 and 3 we skipped breakfast.-

Very good rooms close to the town but quite and with brilliant views. Staff extremely nice and friendly - nice cocktail bar and pool area. However go for a B&B rate as breakfast is not great.

I would stress the elegance of the hotel and favourable location.

We were very pleased and surprised with the elegance of the hotel property and the rooms.
The hotel location is very central, and the rooms sea views are wonderful. The hotel is priced very reasonable considering the surrounding high priced properties.
We would certainly return to this hotel in the future.

The Hotel has been fully refurbished. We stayed last year and were impressed with the upgrade. Excellent service and facilities and the staff are extremely attentive. You should show some updated pictures of the hotel.

We were thrilled with our choice to stay at Hotel Continental. What a beautiful hotel and great location. The staff was very helpful with getting us checked in and setting up dinner reservations. Our honeymoon could not have been any nicer (unless we could have stayed longer that is). We will certainly return in the future!

Our only gripe about our stay is that the weather was a bit on the warm side for us and the air conditioner had already been turned off for the season. Our only option was to open the terrace doors which allowed more noise in as well as a few flying friends. The room however was beautiful and very clean.

The most beautiful view ever! We loved the location to all the shops and places to eat. The cul de sac made it fairly quiet other than the boats heading over to Capri which are kind of loud. The suite was super and we can't wait to go back!

The American Breakfast as described on the website was actually a continental breakfast,which was all we needed anyway to be honest.Towels were changed twice a day,which you don't tend to find in even 5* Hotels let alone 4* ones.

The main problem with the hotel was that the air conditioning was turned off at 9.30am until 1.00pm and also in the middle of the night and then did not come back on again until about 5.30am. This meant that I did not get one full nights sleep during the whole stay. As I would wake up boiling hot and then later cold! I would have just left the doors and windows open in preference to the air conditioning, but we were right next to a building site so it was too noisy. This air con thing is a big issue for me and it means I would not go back to the hotel. Everything else was so good - the staff were great and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was pretty awful too actually!!

We were told we could keep room until 3.00pm (as late flight), however they turned the elecricity off much earlier so could not use hair dryer and no air-con! Seem very mean with electricity.

The only negative was that the hotel does not sit directly on the waterfront as we expected. There was actually another hotel between the Continental and the water which really detracted from the view.
